Drivers: Driver Management - Vehicles - A user will not be allowed to link cross-routed vehicles to drivers.
- A user will not have the ability to link cross routed vehicles to drivers.
- This is applicable to the Driver Management à Link Vehicles
- Cross routed vehicles will not appear in the available list.
Vehicles: Vehicle Management - GPS Date Time
- A user will have the ability to see the GPS Date Time value as a column in the Vehicle Management grid.
- The Date Time column has been added after the existing Last Reported column in the Vehicle Management grid.
OPTIMISATIONS & ENHANCEMENTS
Notification Configuration: Notification Configuration Management - Notification Configurations grid.
- A user will be able to view all the notifications which have been configured for vehicles within a fleet.
- The following columns will be available:
- Vehicle (Primary Identifier)
- Title
- Contact (Name & Surname)
- Cell Number
- Email Address
- Channel
- Time Zone
- Event Columns.
- The notifications will display grouped per vehicle by default.
- The grid is sorted by the vehicle column ascending. (A-Z)
- The grid has server-side paging.
- The grid allows filtering on any of the columns.
- The grid allows sorting on any of the columns.
- A toolbar is available above the grid and contains the following controls/features:
- Search input which will filter on all the columns displayed within the grid. The search is case insensitive.
- Edit button to allow editing of records.
- Add button to allow adding of new records.
- Delete button to allow deletion of record/s. This button is disabled by default and only enabled once a record is selected. (The delete button will only be available on records where a contact was created on the account)
- Refresh button to reload the grid data.
- Export button which allows to export All or current page data, when exporting a notification will be displayed ‘We are processing your export request. Your file download will start shortly.’
- The grid has a dedicated Edit button per row, which will allow editing of a record. (The edit button will only be available on records where a contact was created on the account)
- The events column will not be allowed for grouping.
- When expanding/collapsing grouped records, only the record selected will be expanded/collapsed.
- When changing the column order and clicking save, the changes are kept when navigating away and returning.
- When removing grouped data, the grid will display records ungrouped.
- When the Primary Identifier is changed (Vehicle, Alias, VIN Number) the identifier is displayed accordingly.
Notification Configuration: Notification Configuration Management - Add Notifications
- A User will be able to add notifications for one or more vehicles.
- A form is provided which will allow the user to capture the following:
- Vehicle/s – Mandatory field
- Contact – Mandatory field.
- Can be selected from the drop down or a new contact can be added.
- Channel – Mandatory field.
- A radio- or dropdown list containing the following options:
- SMS
- Both
- This control will only be enabled after a contact is selected.
- The available options are governed by the selected contact's information e.g. if the contact only has an email, then the Email option will be selected.
- Time Zone – Mandatory field
- A dropdown list containing the available time zones.
- This will automatically default to the user's selected time zone.
- Events
- The events can only be presented after the vehicle/s have been selected.
- The events will be presented in a grid for the selected vehicles.
- The grid contains the following columns:
- Vehicle
- Event columns which contain a checkbox for each event the vehicle supports. If a vehicle does not support an event, then no checkbox will be available in that column for the vehicle.
Notification Configuration: Notification Configuration Management - Delete Vehicle Notifications
- A User will be able to delete single or multiple notifications for vehicles on Notification Configuration Management.
- A user can select a single row, or multiple rows, on the grid and then click the Delete button on the grid toolbar.
- A Delete notification is displayed to indicate a successful deletion.
- The grid data is refreshed after a successful deletion.
Notification Configuration: Notification Configuration Management - Edit Notifications
- A user will have the option to edit notifications for one or more vehicles.
- When clicking the edit option for single or multiple entries, the user will be presented with a grid containing the following columns:
- Vehicle (Primary Identifier)
- Contact
- Channel
- Time Zone
- Title
- Events
- The grid will be grouped by vehicles.
- The Vehicle column will be sorted in ascending (A-Z)
- The Contact Option will have a drop-down list to select contacts.
- The Channel Option will have a drop-down list to SMS, Email, or both.
- The Time Zone Option will have a drop-down list to select time zones.
- The events column will display the available events per vehicle.
- One event must be selected before a notification is considered valid.
Notification Configuration: Notification Configuration Management - Add Disclaimer
- A user will not be allowed to save a notification if the disclaimer has not been accepted.
- This is applicable to adding and editing of vehicle notifications.
- A checkbox next to the cancel button has been added on the forms.
- The label will be displayed as Accept Disclaimer.
- When a user clicks on the checkbox or label, a pop-up window will open displaying the disclaimer:
- Under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of Tracker or its third party business partners) will Tracker or its third party business partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss whatsoever which result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access the SMS services. All queries relating to mobile/telephone bills should be directed to the mobile or telephone service provider. SMS is not a guaranteed delivery communication tool. Tracker and its third-party business partners cannot accept responsibility for any SMS messages not received, any SMS inadvertent reply message or for any delay in the delivery of the SMS message due to technical disruptions, network congestion, network failures or for any other reason.
- Cost of SMS Notifications - All charges for SMS Notifications will be billed to the customer’s monthly Tracker Connect bill at a cost of 86c per message inclusive of VAT.
- SMS Notifications are currently unavailable to Telkom Mobile subscribers.
- The below options are available:
- Accept – Once clicked the pop-up window will be closed and the check box will be ticked.
- Do not Accept - Once clicked the pop-up window will be closed and the check box will be unticked.
- The save button on the notification form will only enable once the disclaimer has been accepted and the mandatory fields completed.

BUGFIXES
Vehicles: Vehicle Management- Whitelisting not displaying for vehicles on Drivers Tab
- The toggle to enable/disable whitelisting was not visible for vehicles which had this function.
- This has been resolved, the whitelisting toggle is now visible on the Drivers Tab under Vehicle Management.
User Management: User Permissions - Scheduled Reports are not visible.
- When granting access to Schedule Vehicle, Driver, and Group Reports only and logging in with a user that has access to this Role, the Schedule reports tabs did not show.
- This has been resolved, when a user is granted access to these permissions only, they can now schedule Vehicle, Driver, and Group reports.
Drivers: Driver Management - Save button enables without selecting a valid Tag Type
- When creating a New Driver, the user could complete Driver details without selecting a valid Tag Type.
- This has been resolved and a Tag Type must be selected.
